Reopening Protocols

Due to COVID-19, The Wig Boutique has modified its practices in adherence of the Government of Alberta Workplace Guidance for Businesses. Our modified practices include the following changes:

• Staff will be screened daily for symptoms of COVID-19 and will wear PPE for the duration of their shift
• Work stations, tools and any items tried on by clients will be appropriately held/sanitized between guests
• Appointments will be limited to 1 hour in duration

Because of the sensitive nature of the service we provide and out of the utmost concern for the health of our staff and clients we have made changes to our consultation procedures. We ask for your full cooperation with the following:

• At this time we are not permitting clients to bring guests to appointments. Exceptions will be made for those with mobility issues/disabilities. Notice for this exception is required at time of booking.
• Any guests that are permitted on premises will be required to consent to the protocols outlined here.
• All clients and guests are required to wear a Government of Alberta approved mask [https://www.alberta.ca/masks.aspx].
• No persons under the age of 18 are permitted on the premises unless they are the client in need.

The following is an outline of our new procedures and what you may expect from your appointment:

1. When it is time for your scheduled appointment please ring the doorbell at our front door and wait to be greeted by staff. We ask that you do not arrive early for you appointment.
2. Before entry, you will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and have your temperature taken. You will then be directed into a sanitized space to be served.
3. In the event that a client/guest displays or discloses symptoms of fever or COVID-19, The Wig Boutique will require you to leave the premises and/or re-book your appointment for a later date.
4. Clients and guests will be required to maintain social distance from other clients, guests and staff who are not currently serving you.
5. We ask that you please allow staff to provide you with any products you may require and refrain from handling any merchandise.
6. By booking and confirming your appointment at The Wig Boutique, you are giving your consent and agreeing to abide by the previously stated changes in procedure.
